The radial collateral ligament is mani band of connective tissue that connects the humerus and the radius. However, the articular capsule does connect the humerus and the annular ligament of the radius. In a similar fashion, the anterior part of the articular capsule of the elbow joint does connect the radial and coronoid fossae of the humerus with the coronoid process of the ulna.
