The relationship between the left and right sides of the brain and language and speech is a complex and nuanced one. The brain is divided into two hemispheres, the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere, and they are connected by a bundle of nerve fibers called the corpus callosum. While both hemispheres contribute to various aspects of language and speech, the left hemisphere is generally more dominant and specialized for language processing in most right-handed individuals, and in a significant proportion of left-handed individuals as well.
