We know that a non electrolyte does not contain ions in solution and thus can't conduct electricity. On the other hand, an electrolyte contains ions in its solution, and that's why it is a good conductor for electricity. A strong electrolyte is the one which ionizes completely in a solution while the weak electrolyte ionizes partially in a solution.
