We know that:
(a) We will check with litmus paper, and we will check the reaction with carbonate or bicarbonate to see whether carbon dioxide is produced; then, we will react it with a base and check with an indicator.
(b) We will titrate a known quantity of acid with a standard sodium hydroxide solution. As it is a monoprotic acid, the moles of NaOH reacted are equal to the moles of the acid. We will divide the mass of acid by the number of moles to obtain the molar mass of the acid.
(c) We will visually compare the conductivity of the acid with a standard sodium chloride solution of the same molar concentration. A strong acid will have a similar conductivity to NaCl solution. The conductivity of a weak acid will be less than NaCl solution.
