    Group Discussion

    Objective:

    To analyze the different perspectives in the novel; to work in a collaborative setting, and synthesize information in a written document.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.7.6

    Structure:

    Twain mixes an adult and a children's point of view throughout the novel. Often the same event or scene is presented from both points of view, contrasting the way adults and children experience the same event differently.
