Structure:

Divide the class into small groups. Each group should choose a work of science fiction or fantasy mentioned by Oscar (The Lord of the Rings, for example, or Watchmen, or Dune) and research the characters and relationships portrayed in it. Provide the class with resources for this research, which should include web sites, reviews of the work, excerpts, film clips, etc.
