The Voice On Thuh Tee V comes in from time to time throughout the play to tell us what has happened in the news. It is a metaphor for how the news reports nothing of the atrocious way in which the Black Man was killed, and thus does not do their duty to report the truth.

Black Man and Black Woman both ask the other to remember them. This is a metaphor for how these human beings desired to be loved and remembered for who they were, not the horrible deaths they suffered.
Before Columbus
The character of Before Columbus is a metaphor for how the white man began enslaving, torturing and murdering black men. They tell the story of how the truth of the world being flat resulted in them being put in their place. And, this made them need to put another race in their place to make up for being made fools of.
