100% perfect girl is not really beautiful, but she is perfect
The narrator in ‘On Seeing The 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning’, says that he saw a girl who was perfect for him. To superimpose the point, he calls her 100% perfect. Still, he doesn’t know her and can judge her being ‘perfect’ only from her looks. Ironically, we discover that she is not really beautiful.
The green monster can hear narrator’s thoughts which she finds intimidating but uses it to her advantage
In ‘The Little Green Monster’, the narrator is trapped in her own house by a little green monster who professes of his love for her. He also can hear her thoughts, and this makes the woman feel vulnerable as whatever she thinks would be known by the monster as well. But, she soon realizes that the monster is affected by the thoughts and uses them to kill him. Thus, what the narrator considered a weakness proved to be a power.
The dwarf promised to help the narrator but has endangered his life
In ‘The Dancing Dwarf’, the narrator is attracted to a young woman who is not attracted to him. The dwarf offers to help him by offering to possess his body and making him ‘dance’, so he can seduce the woman, However, this very act endangers his life and royal army began on a manhunt to find the narrator to get to the dwarf.

In ‘Lederhosen’, the story of mother of a friend of narrator’s wife is being discussed. She was a dutiful wife and went to a town in Germany to buy a pair of Lederhosen pants for her husband. Due to several circumstances, she is unable to buy them by herself. However, she is determined to buy this gift for her husband and manipulates the situation so as to buy the pants. But, while doing so, she comes to realize that she hates her husband, and ironically the gift that she was supposed to shoe her love with, leads to their divorce
