Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Emperor Jones, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

- On Day 1, students will research U.S. imperialism in Haiti.
- On Day 1, students may use a journaling platform to create a series of journal entries.
- On Day 2, students will research systems of white supremacy.
- On Day 3, students may use layout software to prepare a staging of a scene from the play.
- On Day 3, students will research the psychological phenomenon of collective trauma.
