An ancient Greek historian known as The Father of History, Herodotus wrote The Histories in which he described The Greco-Persian Wars in detail.

Paris

Paris was the son of King Priam. He abducted Helen of Troy.

Helen of Troy

Helen, the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta and known for her beauty, had to leave Troy with Paris because of the boon of Aphrodite.

Darius

Darius was the Persian king of The Achaemenid Empire and was also known as Darius the Great. Darius conquered Scythians, Egyptians, and Greeks.

Xerxes

Xerxes the Great was the son of King Darius and the fourth ruler of The Achaemenid Empire.
