Friendship
Friendship is the main theme of the book. All the animals in the Forest are friends and play together. Pooh and Piglet appear in every chapter, and they are the closest of all. But the tightest relationship is between Christopher Robin and Pooh. The friends quarrel sometimes, but when they are needed they always come to help. The book promotes the best feelings of reliability and closeness, and everything is depicted in a very agreeable way for children.
Adventures
All the animals have some adventures all the time. These are not serious or adventures with some important goals, but for the animals they are very serious. Either it is a search of a lost friend, or the building of a new house, or recreation on the bank of the river: there always are adventures for them. That is how children’s games are represented, adventurously.
Childhood
Light-heartedness is what all the adults dream about, but it is what belongs to childhood. Children are allowed to be carefree and not to concern about grow-up’s problems, like where to get something to eat, or to get dressed and etc.; they take it for granted and are not disturbed. And it is beauty of the childhood, and the author has managed to depict it in the best possible way.
