To depict the events of the poem in an interactive way.

Structure:

As a class, look at the layout from Day 4 of the series of events Odysseus encounters on his way home to Ithaca. Then, as a group, work together to create a board game charting Odysseus' journey.

Every major episode must be represented and assigned a function in the game (e.g. "Scylla and Charybdis! If you roll a four or higher, go forward two spaces. If you roll a three or lower, go back three spaces.") The object of the game will be to get back to Ithaca. After...
