Santa Claus
Santa Claus symbolizes the magic of Christmas for children. Children cannot complete Christmas if they do not see Santa Claus, famously known as Father Christmas. However, the narrator is curious and wants to know if Santa is real. Alongside other curious children, the Hero Boy takes a train to the North Pole to see if Santa Claus is a real man. Fortunately, the Hero Boy finally meets Santa and confirms that he is a real person, which satisfies his curiosity about the magical Charismas.
The ringing bell
The ringing bell symbolizes the Hero Boy's renewed faith. When the Hero Boy finally arrives at the North Pole, he meets Santa and asks for the bell, which he rings to confirm its sound. Consequently, Hero boy is clearing his doubts after discovering that Santa is a real human being. Santa also gives the Hero Boy Christmas gifts to clear his curiosity.
