Common, average; possessed of the dullness of everyday experience.

Visually beautiful; scenic.

guileless

Naive and innocent.

Brightly shining and shimmery.

equivocal

Ambiguous and rather vague in specifics of meaning.

umbrage

Emotion stirred up by taking offense.

disdainfully

Scornfully or derisively.

unwonted

Unaccustomed or unusual.

infernal

Malevolent and wicked, or at least seeming so.

rapacious

Greedy and predatory.
