Students will create a comic representing a Hmong folklore, legend, or fable.

Structure:
Hmong culture is full of folklore, fables, and legends, some of which are covered or mentioned in The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down. In this activity, the students will build a comic representing one such story.
To start, ask the students what differences they can think of between folklore, fables, and legends and for examples of each.
