The Way to Wealth Symbols, Allegory and Motifs

The Path (Symbol)

This “way to wealth” is like a symbol of path from one life to another: from poor life to better life. A way of struggle and changes that lift a person on a higher level. This path is making us ready that this is not going to be easy, but showing a ray of light at the end and we are picturing our victory that gives strength to survive under any circumstances.

Advisory book (Allegory)

A story is like a didactic guide to those who need encouragement. Everyone who has any hesitations should have this book for receiving advice. It is not big but contains useful information. For those who don't know how to start, for those who is looking of changes, and for those who are at the beginning. The book says “God helps them that help themselves”. It is an allegory of a book that contains answers to all the questions, like Bible in some way.

Recommendation (Motif)

The most important aim of the essay is to stimulate with few words to get up and to hesitate no more. The part about long sleeps would inspire the lazy to think about their lifestyle and would encourage them to try to change it. Franklin's recommendations concern every part of one’s life, and are very helpful in self-development and self-improving.
