Experiencing something indirectly through the enjoyment of observing someone else's actual experiences.

impersonator

Somebody who makes a living by doing an impression of someone famous.

inheritance

The legacy or birthright that passes from one generation to a member of the next.

sullen

Morose, sulky and characterized by a negative outlook.

greenbacks

Slang term for dollars.

Uncle Tom

Derogatory term for a black man who acts subserviently toward white people.

ravenously

Greedily; insatiably.

vernacular

The dialect and idioms used for verbal communication shared by a specific group of people.

parlance

The unique idiosyncracies of jargon, word choice and pronunciation that define a social group.

brotherhood

The community of comradeship shared not just by actual brothers but in a metaphorical way by those who are as close as brothers.
