Davis is emotional because Aza's mom states that he has everything he could want but he doesn't have a mother, or a father who did fatherly things. His behavior makes sense to me because when somebody says that I have everything when I have had some struggles I get very emotional. If I was in Davis's situation I would feel pretty awful. However, Aza's mother's' behavior makes perfect sense to me as well becuase she is jsut worried for her duaghter and is acting like a good mother.
