On Day 1, students will conduct Internet research and prepare a multi-media presentation about Walden Pond and its environmental evolution from Thoreau's time to today. Students will also use Google Docs to read and respond to their classmates' writing and reflections in Deliberate Living.
On Day 2, students will use recording devices to create a soundscape in Listening to the Pond. They may also use YouTube or Soundcloud to share their recordings. A SMART board will enhance the Poetic License activity.
