Pastiche Portfolio: Day 2

Creative Writing
Objective:
Students will demonstrate understanding of how Stevens's poetic choices contribute to his writing by writing their own imitations of his poems.

Structure:
This is a continuation of the Pastiche Portfolio project.
Have students choose to write an imitation of either "Sunday Morning" or "The Snow Man" (writing one section of a longer poem is fine). Give students 15-20 minutes of class writing time, then use the remaining 10 minutes to workshop their poems in pairs.
