Peter Billingsley
Billingsley is most widely known for his portrayal of Ralphie in the 1983 film, A Christmas Story, but has also worked as both a director and producer throughout the years. Starting out in TV commercials and other small projects, Billingsley landed the the famous Christmas movie role, which earned him a nomination at the Young Artist Awards. Though his acting has slowed in recent years, he reprised his role as Ralphie in the 2022 sequel to the film, A Christmas Story Christmas.
Ian Petrella
Petrella was most prominent for his role as Randy Parker, and did not follow on with further acting after the success of the movie. Instead, Ian prefers to work as an animator, based in Ohio.
Melinda Dillon
Dillon is perhaps most well known for her success on the hit broadway show Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, which led to her rise in the film industry. This, however, was not the pinnacle of her career, as she went on to be nominated for an Academy Award twice, for the movies Absence of Malice and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Darren McGavin
McGavin had an extensive acting career, prior to his unfortunate death from cardiovascular disease at age 83. His acting career initially stemmed from working as a painter on set, until he landed in a 1950 production of Death of a Salesman. He then went on to act in various shows, including David Lean's Summertime and Bob Clark's A Christmas Story. He also played a supporting role in the hit comedy Billy Madison, alongside Adam Sandler.
