The students will use a multimedia presentation to ground the novel's setting and events in their historical context

Common Core Standards:

Structure:

The groups will present their findings on their research topic.

· A narrative summary of the most impactful historical events of that period, as well as context to understand the contributing factors to those events
· A timeline of significant events that occurred during the period
