Writing a Travelogue

To analyze the development of key themes in the novel of the course of the narrative

Structure:

The theme of travel is central to the novel and its characters' development.

Throughout reading the novel, students will keep a travelogue for any one of Lucy, Miss Bartlett, Miss Lavish, Mr. Emerson, or George. Students could write their travelogues from the perspective of the character or as an outside observer.
