Clark's Music Education in Nebraska
Clark describes his aunt’s Nebraska homestead as a cultural wasteland, barren and desolate. Yet ironically, it is there that his aunt first exposed him to Shakespeare and ancient mythology, where he learned to conjugate Latin verbs, and where he first learned his musical scales.
