Everything is Fine
Dr. Rumack tells the passengers that everything is just fine. Ironically, his nose begins to grow with every statement he utters. He's become Pinocchio and all of his lying is revealed instantly.
Quitting is Tough
McCroskey has decided to give up smoking. Ironically, he's picked a week to do so that is far more stressful than he anticipates, so he decides to take it up again. Even more ironic, this is the same week he decided to quit amphetamines too; actually, he can't stay off them for long either.
The Fish
Dr. Rumack is describing the symptoms of food poisoning from the fish that will occur in the cockpit with one of the stewardesses. Ironically, as he describes the symptoms, Captain Clarence begins to have them in unison with the Doctor speaking them out - all before passing out.
Certainly not!
A passenger takes a swig of whiskey to calm his nerves and then offers a drink to the woman across the aisle, who refuses it coldly. Ironically, she pulls out lines of cocaine which she then sniffs.
All is Well
Captain Clarence tells the passengers that things have been bumpy, but they are passed out. Ironically, the two co-captains are being dragged through the aisles as they have passed out from food poisoning.
