Writing
Alexander Hamilton spend a lot of his time writing. He has even been described as "the human word machine", which tells you a lot of how much he wrote. He put his job in front of every other part of his life, thereby sacrificing his marriage and family life.
Cheating
When Alexander Hamilton cheated on his wife, Elizabeth Schyler Hamilton, he was slightly depressed and very alone. He missed his wife and wished to escape the "real life" and feel loved again. The image of Alexander at this point in his life involves a negative turning point, as it just continues spiraling down.
The American Dream
Alexander Hamilton's life is described from the start to the middle as the american dream. He started as an orphan in the Caribbean, to then become the Aide de Camp of General George Washington. He was a heroic figure, idolized by numerous people.
The duel
The duel is one of the strongest images in the whole book. Even though we never will be sure of what exactly happened, the majority of people have a clear picture. Alexander Hamilton holds his pistol to the sky, while Aaron Burr fires directly at Alexander Hamilton, shooting the killing blow that he would forever regret.
