Writing What Comes Next

Objective:
Students will analyze what they know about the book to hypothesize what is likely coming next in the novel.

Structure:
Begin this activity with a short classwide discussion about the plot of the novel thus far. Cover the specifics about the major events that have happened as well as what readers know about the characters. Also, be sure to talk about where the novel leaves off at the end of Chapter One:
