How do Ifemelu and Obinze feel about the lives they have been living? How are their feelings similar to each other's, and how are they different?

Both characters seem unsettled, ill at ease in the lives they have been living. Neither seems to feel good about their romantic relationships, they both seem to have difficulty connecting with other people, and each seems to retain some nostalgia about the other. However, Ifemelu has already made some moves to change the way her life has been, while Obinze still seems stuck in the way he lives; it seems like it is Ifemelu's email that might be shaking him up.
