Throughout the study of An Artist of the Floating World,students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Day 1: For the first activity, internet access and a projector may also be necessary depending on how the teacher chooses to present Vonnegut's "Story Shapes." Students will use the internet to conduct research in groups as well as to prepare a presentation on a collaborative platform for the following day.
