Why won't the Inspector show the photograph to anyone but Birling?
Goole says he won't show the photo to anyone else because he wants to pursue one line of inquiry at a time. This should seem like an odd reason to students, as it seems to imply that others in the room will be involved in future lines of inquiry. Even so, Goole's refusal to show the photograph is odd. Students should propose some explanations for his behavior.
