How did you learn about Colorado College and why do you wish to attend? Anonymous

It’s the intangible aspects of blogging that I find fascinating: one becomes a better writer, a critical reader, and thinker; one learns to leads a life with more intention, to develop healthful habits—and gets to meet people well outside one’s expected area of influence. So when I read a blog by Heather Ezell, who currently studies at Colorado College, I was convinced that CC was a place I could call my own. Her blog spoke matter-of-factly of the environment that was not only so conducive to learning, but also actively encouraged academic and social interaction of the most vibrant sort.

I delved further and discovered that Colorado College has an exceptional economics program, with modules such as economics of an organization, comparative economics systems, and econometrics. As never before, I can immerse myself in the application of mathematics, statistics, and computer science to economic data. Furthermore, the College’s Investment Club would enable the application of classroom knowledge to real life situations. Add to the above the following: a pro-active and versatile liberal arts curriculum; the beautiful campus of Colorado Springs; creative activities such as the Cipher Magazine, BreakOut, the community kitchen, and even...
