Where will I go?
You've got a ticket in your hand - Where will you go? What will you do? What will happen when you get there?
It has always been a dream of mine to travel to a Spanish speaking country, to immerse myself in the language and culture. Sadly, due to financial constraints, my family has never been able to travel out of the country, except for one trip to see relatives in Canada. Thus, starting my fifth year of advanced high school Spanish is the closest that I have gotten to experiencing these dreams. Yet now that I have this ticket, I know it will be difficult to choose which country to visit. I could go to Costa Rica and breathe in the fresh air that accompanies the breathtaking beauty found throughout the country. I could travel to Peru and climb to the heights Machu Picchu while learning about the Incas who skillfully crafted a city made with stones but no mortar. I could travel to Spain and walk through the halls of incredible buildings, such as the Alhambra, built over the hundreds of years that have led up to the culturally rich Spain that we know today.
