Conformity, Agreement (Noun). When you agree with or follow something, you work ‘in accordance’ to that.

Ramshackle

Dilapidated, Ruined, Derelict (Adjective). For example, poor people often live in ramshackle shanties.

Mortification

Embarrassment, Awkwardness, Humiliation (Noun). Somewhat archaic usage.

Propensity

Inclination, Tendency, someone’s natural proneness to something (Noun).

Demarcation

Border, Boundary, a separating line as well as the act of separation itself (Noun).

Furtively

Secretly, Avoiding attention, Without getting noticed (Adverb).

Instantaneous

Immediate, Prompt, Swift (Adjective).

Proliferation

Rapid growth, Multiplication (Noun). The term is most used in biology to denote the fast reproduction of an orgasm or cell.

Zenlike ritual

The Zen is a particular school of Buddhism, which originated as a result of the Mahayana Buddhism from India, and the local Taoism of China. The word Zen comes from Chinese Chan, which in turn came from Sanskrit Dhyana, or meditation. Zen Buddhism includes several rituals that aim at delivering physical health and mental peace.

Pantheism

Believing in several gods (like Hinduism), as opposed to atheism, or the no-god doctrine, as well as monotheism, which advocates for a singular god (like Christianity, Islam).

Resentment

Displeasure, Indignation, Irritation (Noun).

Instigating

Encouraging, Provoking, Inciting (Adjective).

Lackadaisical

Careless, Casual, Indifferent (Adjective).

Pubescence

The beginning of puberty (Noun).

Unadulterated

Unmixed, Undiluted, Pure (Adjective). For example, whole-milk is unadulterated when you do not dilute it or add something to it.

Descent

Ancestry, Origin (Noun).

Exacerbated

Aggravated, Worsened (Adjective).

Condescending

Snobbish, Supercilious, Bossy (Adjective).

Endemic

A rampant malady that quickly spreads over and affects a vast area.
