Create a Tumblr account for the unit on Beloved where you and students can store media inspired by the novel. Use this Tumblr to explore the concept of sharing stories and passing on information (see Day 2 Activities).
Encourage students to use various media, including technology such as YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, podcasting, etc. to create presentations that explore the idea of self-love and expression as taught by Baby Suggs in the Clearing. This will be an ongoing project that will span Days 3-5 and potentially beyond.
