Bree Taggert
Bree is a homicide detective in Philadelphia. Her parents were murdered twenty-five years ago and ever since then she hasn't been the same. All of that trauma is relived when Erin, her younger sister, is murdered.
Erin Taggert
Erin is Bree's younger sister. She is married to Justin, and they have children together. Their marriage is rocky, plagued with constant domestic violence. One day, Erin is found dead and Justin is conveniently missing in action.
Justin
Justin is Erin's husband and Matt's old friend. When Erin is found dead, he is conveniently nowhere to be found, which makes him suspect number one in the murder of his wife.
Matt Flynn
Matt is a former investigator with the sheriff's office and a K-9 trainer. He is friends with Justin. Matt is determined to help Bree uncover what really happened to Erin and deliver justice.
