Writing a Personal Essay Part 2

Objective:

In this activity, students will write the section of their essay that includes the primary event.

Structure:

Part 1:

First, students will simply write for ten minutes about this event. They do not need to have a plan - in fact, the objective of this exercise is to develop a sort of stream of consciousness that will develop a natural and compelling form of narration.
