Cyrano has been adapted countless times. The 1973 musical by Anthony Burgess (whose translation of the original is still widely used) and Franco Alfano and Henri Cain's 1936 opera are worth a look, as is the 1950 film starring José Ferrer. (It's worth noting there are three other operas, six other film adaptations, and three musicals based on the play.)
Other adaptations include the 1987 film Roxanne starring Steve Martin and Darryl Hannah, the 1996 film The Truth About Cats And Dogs starring Janeane Garofalo, Uma Thurman, and Jamie Foxx, the 1995 Wishbone episode "Cyranose," and the 2018 Bob's Burgers episode "Sleeping with the Frenemy."
