Annual

Casualty

A person killed or injured in a war or accident.

Caution

An awareness of risk or danger.

Cynic

A person who believes that people are motivated purely by self-interest rather than acting for honorable or altruistic reasons.

Daring

Adventurous or audaciously bold.

Deliberately

Consciously and intentionally; on purpose.

Endeavor

To try hard to do or achieve something.

Faithless

Disbelieving; without faith.

Marrow

A soft, fatty substance in the cavities of bones, in which blood cells are produced.

Morose

Sullen and ill-tempered.

Noble

Having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals.

Passion

A strong uncontrollable desire for something.

Pursuit

The act of following or pursuing someone or something.

Realist

A person who accepts a situation as it is and is prepared to deal with it accordingly.

Recurring

To occur again, periodically or repeatedly.

Resign

To voluntarily leave a job or other position; to give up.

Rout

Defeat and cause to retreat in disorder.

Strive

Make great efforts to achieve or obtain something.

Sustain

Strengthen or support physically or mentally.

Woo

To try to gain the love of someone, especially with a view to marriage.
