Brooding

Preoccupied with depressing, morbid, or painful memories or thoughts.

Decrepit

Elderly and physically broken down.

Dubious

Hesitant or doubtful.

Gunslinger

A gun-toting man who is highly skilled in shooting.

Kneecapping

The act of shooting someone in the leg or knees as punishment.

Phrenology

The detailed study of the shape and size of the cranium as a supposed indication of character and mental abilities.

Plantation

An estate on which crops are harvested by people who live on the property, oftentimes slaves

Revisionist

Advocating a policy of revision or modification.

Specimen

an example of something such as a product or piece of work, regarded as typical of its class or group.

Bounty

A sum paid for killing or capturing a person or animal.

Uppity

Arrogant.

Derringer

A small pistol that has a large bore and is very effective at close range.

Quick-draw

A game or competition in which the winner is the quickest person to draw a handgun from a holster and sometimes to fire it and hit a target.

Handbill

A small printed advertisement or other notice distributed by hand.

Parley

To hold a conference with the opposing side to discuss terms.

Auf Wiedersehen

German for goodbye; literally, "Until we meet again."

Slaver

A person dealing in or owning slaves.

Mandingo

A member of a people of western Africa in or near the upper Niger valley; informally, a large African man.

D'Artagnan

The hero of Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers.

Neophyte

A person who is new to a subject, skill, or belief.
