"...women playing hockey...damn silliest thing I heard in my life..."
Zachary is saying this in his sleep when Big Joey and Creature come in to find him on Big Joey's couch. It becomes the theme of the play that it is ridiculous for women to be playing hockey, which is Zachary's bad dream.
"Still don't make her my wife."
Big Joey tells Creature that Gazelle Nataways (who was Creature's ex-wife) is not his wife even though they live and sleep together.
"And what were you dreaming abou..."
Hera asks Zachary what it was he was dreaming while asleep on the couch. This statement is part of Zachary waking up to reveal that the entire play has been the fictionalized account of what he had been dreaming at home on his couch.
