Vegetarianism

They say that this silent protest is not going help animals, that they don’t even know that someone does that for them. It is true, they don’t know, but still vegetarianism attracts more and more people. The more people talk about animals’ rights the more chances are to change the situation for better. Of course, the world where no one eats meat is a dystopia, but the world, which is not that cruel to animals might be a reality.

Realism

Elizabeth is faithful to realism, for it allows depicting a life as it is. There is no need to try to make it better than it looks. Let people know how bad or good a certain situation is. Realism makes no exceptions, for it reaches all aspects of one’s life. However, realism might be harsh and there are not so many volunteers to learn the truth. Elizabeth’s dedication to it costs her public’s love and her own comfort. As it turns out, people are not eager to think about horrors of existence, they want to have an escape from daily routine.

Family

When one says this word, associations with warmth and love start waking up in hearts of the majority of people. Unfortunately for John, he was born in a family where no one really cared about him. His mother had more important things to occupy her mind with. However, he still considers her to be a part of his family and doesn’t allow bitter feelings to destroy that little he still has, for family is the best protection from loneliness and he had enough of it.

Religion

Why do we need gods? According to Elizabeth, we need them to get rid of responsibility. A religion for her is something that prevents the mankind from realization that there is no one to blame but ourselves. She says that she doesn’t know what she believes in and this is a rather scary feeling. It takes her a lot of time to figure out what she considers to be true.
