Throughout the study of Pa Chin's Family, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.
In this lesson plan, students will be given several opportunities to use modern technology to engage with Pa Chin's Endgame and its themes.
In the Day 1 activity "Scavenger Hunt: Pa Chin," students will conduct online research about Samuel Beckett's life and career. The Day 1 activity "Getting Situated in Sichuan" will also allow them to use Google Earth and Google Maps to explore the world in which the novel takes place.
