How does the collaborative writing process challenge Cath? What does she learn about her own writing from working with Nick?

Every new relationship Cath forms in college forces her outside of her comfort zone. She is used to either writing alone or with her sister, and is very established in her habits. Even the process of writing on paper rather than on her computer is new for Cath, and challenges her to adapt to a new way of working.
