Throughout the study of From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Both of the activities on Day 1 require internet research; one uses PowerPoint, and another may also make use of a digital timeline.
