Role-Playing the Characters

Role Play
Objective:
Students will develop a more profound understanding of the characters by writing questions for them that evoke thoughtful responses or answering questions thoughtfully from the perspective of that character.
Structure:
Students will come up in front of the class and pretend they are one of the book's characters. The teacher will assign the specific character they will be role-playing when they get up there.
