    Loved One Interviews

    Individual Writing

    Objective:

    Students will interview a loved one to better understand their life story

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.8.6, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.8.3

    Structure:

    At the very end of the novel, in the Author's Note, Lại challenges us to sit close to a loved one and have them tell us their story. For this activity, students will be doing just that.
