"I assume so. She would sense it, wouldn't she?"
Patrick is in a therapy session with Valerie when he says this. She has just asked him if the man's wife who he is sleeping with knows about him. Patrick assumes that she does know, that it is merely something that can be sensed by her and she wouldn't have to be told. It's a naive belief that he holds on to in order to have hope that this man wants only to be with him.
"I'm starting to wonder just where this might go."
Jane and Leon are having a drink after dance class as Sonja has gone with the rest of the group to a club to continue dancing. As soon as Jane says this Leon is hit with the truth that though he is having an affair with her he doesn't want to be with her. He's still in love with his wife and now that Jane desires something more he puts an end to their affair.
"What are you doing here? Most of the guys in this place aren't much older than our son."
Leon says this to Sonja, his wife after he finds her dancing at a club. He's so blind that he doesn't see that he is the one she wants to be dancing with and though he is having the affair, he is the one lashing out at her. This pushes her further and further away from him and she nearly sleeps with a man that night, but cannot go through with it because of him pushing her away.
