Gregory Mitchell
Despite having struggled with finding creativity and the energy needed to produce artistic masterpieces, now that George has reached middle-age, he has become a renowned dancer as well as choreographer for Broadway shows. He experiences many problems throughout the play, such as falling in love with Bobby but then being left by him, all while trying to prepare for a dance premiere taking place in New York.
Buzz Hauser
Buzz loves musicals, particularly comic ones, and injects a much-needed element of humor and passion to the play as a whole. As well as volunteering at his AIDS clinic, Buzz also makes costumes for the production put on by Gregory's company. He finally finds love with James, who also has AIDS, although whose AIDS are at a much worse stage than the type of AIDS Buzz has.
James Jeckyll
The twin brother of John Jeckyll, James is also the lover of Buzz. He is attentive with everyone he meets, as he deeply cares about them and he brings a smile to everyone's faces with his humor and generosity. He deeply loves Buzz, and although they are both aware that their relationship will end soon from AIDS, they manage to care for each other and stay positive about life in general.
