One who collects birds in cages for scientific or display purposes.

Squire

A person of particularly high social status that owns and controls a large estate.

Imprisoned

The state of being locked up and not having the right to carry out free will.

Lark

A songbird.

"Love Without Hope"

The state of hopelessly loving someone; loving someone with no way of breaking the connection. There is so much that you already have between you that there is nothing else to hope for.

Love

A strong emotional feeling of happiness that the characters in the story feel towards each other.

"Escape and Fly"

A symbolic phrase in the poem that represents the main character becoming free of any doubts or restraints and fully loving who he wants to.
