Gesture

A movement of the body, hands, or arms to express an idea or emotion.

Reprieve

To spare someone from a punishment or consequence.

Queerness

Unusualness; strangeness.

Deset

To dislike intensely; to hate.

Épéeist

One who fences with an epee.

Wielded

Held and used, often in reference to a weapon.

Linger

To hover or stay in a place longer than is usually considered to be socially acceptable.

Encumbered

To be physically or emotionally restricted from doing something.

Sparingly

To use in small quantities; to restrict one’s use.

Implying

To strongly suggest, but not explicitly state, an idea or suggestion.

Piste

A ski run, made out of flattened and compacted snow drifts.
